Changes in the socio-economic and technical-technological situation in Russia have caused a qualitative transformation in the field of general education. A graduate of a pedagogical university must meet the requirements of the educational standard of higher education and the professional level of teachers, as well as be capable of self-development and professional development. Today requires not only quality training of future teachers, but also procedures for assessing the level of readiness of university graduates for professional pedagogical activity. Therefore, the main purpose of the study was the development of models of state certification of graduates of a pedagogical university. For this purpose, an analysis of the literature was carried out, as well as systematized materials prepared and tested by the author. Particular attention was paid to modeling, which allows combining theoretical and applied aspects of subject research. As a result, the results of testing three options for conducting a state exam in a pedagogical university were obtained. Each of the options involves ascertaining the level of theoretical and applied training of students. The proposed models and options for the state exam can be used in the certification of graduates of a pedagogical university, regardless of profile. The results of the experiment showed that the proposed model using the elements of the "demonstration exam" may well ensure the successful passing of the first qualified exam for the assignment of teaching qualifications and teaching, declared in the national system of teacher growth as the initial element. © 2019 LLC Ecological Help.
