Abstract

The research on improving the quality of STEM education is needed as followed the requirement in Malaysia Education Blueprint 2013-2025 by Malaysia of Education (MOE). The aim of this paper is to discuss a design conceptual framework of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) subject module. The conceptual framework was built based on the needs of elements to design a quality module on teaching and learning (T&L) for STEM education. This paper explains STEM education and the elements used to design learning STEM module paper which includes learning methods, learning strategy, learning theory, and design model. Overall, conceptual framework in this study will act as guidelines and explanatory for each stage involved in the design learning STEM subject module. Therefore, the suggestions of this paper could assist in further researcher to enhance the development of future module for STEM education. © 2020 IEEE.
