The modern challenges facing the school as a social institution require a change in its vision and its transformation into a place for enriching the individual experience of the student, by mastering pragmatically oriented educational strategies and social experience. Social competence, as one of the eight key competences defined by the European Qualifications Framework for Formation through Education, is crucial for the social inclusion, personal development and professional realization of people. The training of social competences and, in particular, of conflict resolution skills at school can take place in the form of an independent subject, be integrated into other subjects or be taught based on interdisciplinary principles [7]. In this paper an educational design for building conflict resolution competence in school through integrated project-based learning in technical subjects is proposed. © 2022 IEEE.
