A stronger work orientation or even the integration of learning into activities will be one of the central basic requirements for the success of Industry 4.0. Using the example of the project E-Mas (Exporting blended vocational education and training for industrial process design and optimization into the Mexican automotive sector), the paper discusses the development and implementation of a highly work oriented further education program.
