The development of workplace learning research continues to increase as can be seen from the increasing number of publications and citations. The purpose of this study is to get an overview of workplace learning in terms of seven keywords related to workplace learning, such as workplace training, work based learning, apprenticeship, internship, on the job training, on the job learning. This research was conducted on April 12, 2022, uses bibliometrics performance analysis research to get an overview of the basic knowledge related to workplace learning. The results show that workplace learning research is still growing even though it has decreased in recent years. It can be seen in its development that Apprenticeship is the longest term, namely since 1872. Then the term internship is in great demand, especially in the field of medicine. Contributions from Western countries dominate in every keyword, including authors with the greatest number of documents affiliated with the US, while those from Asia are very minimal. In addition, the development of this research is supported by various scientific fields, especially in the field of social sciences which excel in every keyword except for the internship keyword which tends to increase in the field of Medicine. This study contributes to the knowledge base in workplace learning through performance analysis studies of existing and relevant knowledge. © School of Engineering, Taylor’s University.
