This study aims to verify the development of industrial engineering in industrial product design research by implementing the bibliometric approach to computational mapping analysis using VOSviewer. The article data was obtained from Google Scholar using the publish or perish reference manager application. The title and abstract article guide the search process by referring to the keywor “Industrial Engineering in Industrial Product Design.” In the range of time 10 years (2012-2022), 850 articles were found showing that Industrial Engineering in Industrial Product Design research could be divided into five keywors: strategy, service, product, industrial engineering, and decision. There are 30 links related to the term “strategy,” with a total link strength of 57. While the term “service” has 36 links. The third term, “product”, has 54 links with a total link strength of 116. The next term, “industrial engineering”, has 37 links with a total link strength of 116. The last term, “decision”, has 32 links. The analysis result related to the development of Industrial Engineering in Industrial Product Design research in 10 years shows a fluctuation. In 2013, the number of the study was 117 indicating the highest number of published articles related to the topic area in the last 10 years. However, after 2013 there was a decrease from 117 to 83 (2014) and an increase from 2015 to 2017. The fluctuations in research occurred from 2017 to 2020. It is followed by the decreasing number of research occurring continuously from 2020 to 2022. The number of articles on this industrial engineering and related problems is tested using VOSviewer. The study can be the initial research step related to the other subject. © 2023 Taylor's University. All rights reserved.
