Abstract

The goal of this evaluation research is to determine the success of fieldwork practice (Indonesian: Praktik Kerja Lapangan (PKL)) or industrial practice program implementation in each department of the Faculty of Engineering, State University of Manado, in terms of context evaluation, input evaluation, process evaluation, product evaluation, and overall evaluation in 2020. The researcher in this study used the CIPP model. Students enrolled in the electrical engineering education study program who took fieldwork practice in the sixth semester served as data sources or respondents. In addition, program coordinators and supervisors were included as respondents in this study. A simple random sampling technique was used to select respondents. Furthermore, data were gathered through a survey method with a closed questionnaire. Aside from that, the data was analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing, and data verification. Internal and external validity tests were used to determine the validity of the data. The results showed that the program's context, input, process, and product dominate the excellent category. © 2023 AIP Publishing LLC.
