Abstract

The rapid transformation of the educational process and the widespread introduction of digital technologies open new opportunities in teaching students. The combination of different approaches and an interdisciplinary approach allows to format various competencies on a new level. The introduction of quest-based learning gamification elements can significantly improve student outcomes and engagement. The article presents the best practices for the creation and implementation of quest games in the process of training students of technical specialties. The theoretical and practical aspects of the development of quest games are considered. A step-by-step model of working with students in the process of creating quest games and their support from the teacher is shown. Games were developed based on RPG Maker MV.
