In this research, it is aimed to determine the expectations of vocational high school teachers from the business in the context of school-business cooperation. The study was designed in accordance with the phenomenological research design, one of the qualitative research designs. A total of 7 clothing production technology teachers, 5 women and 2 men, constituted the participants of the research. Content analysis technique was used in the analysis of the data obtained from the participants through interviews. As a result of the analysis; A total of 4 themes were determined as internship, equipment, teacher training and training program, and 22 categories were created for the themes. About the internship of the participants; It has been determined that they have expectations such as educating students, not doing unnecessary work, respecting personal rights, and accepting students from lower classes. In the hardware theme, the participants asked businesses to finance schools, help with equipment, and check whether the machines in the school are suitable for the sector. They stated that they expect them to give seminars at schools, to give weekly seminars to teachers in businesses, to introduce new technologies, and to respect the school and the teacher, within the framework of the teacher education theme. Finally, within the scope of the training program, businesses are expected to provide support while creating the training program, identify the deficiencies of the training program and share the expectations of the sector with the school. © (2024), (T.C.
