Abstract

Due to the common influence of various factors on the achievement of curriculum goals, the final results are significantly different from the actual difficulties in the process of monitoring them. Therefore, this paper puts forward a research on the monitoring method for the achievement of curriculum goals of online English teaching students in higher vocational colleges based on the online platform of Xueyin. Combined with the characteristics of the online platform of Xueyin, the monitoring indicators for the achievement of online teaching students’ curriculum goals are designed from the three perspectives of teaching elements, learning elements and management elements, which are taken as the basis for the analysis of the achievement of curriculum goals. In the specific analysis process, the impact of different curriculum goal assessment methods and assessment difficulty differences on the achievement evaluation is fully considered, The weighted piecewise function is used to calculate the quantitative score of each monitoring indicator to accurately monitor the achievement of students’ curriculum goals. In the test results, there is no significant difference between the monitoring results of online listening and oral English teaching course goal attainment and the actual situation, and the design method has good application value. © ICST Institute for Computer Sciences, Social Informatics and Telecommunications Engineering 2024.
