Assessment and modeling of augmented reality applications for the management and automation of systems operating in real spaces: An innovative pedagogical proposal for the educational structures and standards of Vocational Education and Training in Greece

Abstract

This article belongs to the context-aware multimedia applications, from the point of view of technical education. Through the analysis, we present an assessment and types of modeling for augmented reality applications that operate in real spaces. We present the innovation frontiers of a pedagogical proposal for the educational standards of Vocational Education and Training in Greece. We based our analysis on the "digital factor"as the basic "tool"for designing virtual representations. In our paper, we also present the basic areas that knowledge standards apply especially for virtual representations, as well as the real problems of augmented reality applications for management and automation of systems operating in real spaces. © 2024 IEEE.
