Development of animation-based learning media in special service tool materials in automotive engineering students

Abstract

This study aims to develop interactive learning media based on Adobe Flash Animate CC which was developed for Special Service Tools material in learning Basic Automotive Engineering Works. The development of this learning media uses the theory of Borg and Gall which is combined with the ADDIE learning model which has been adapted by researchers as needed. The main procedures used by the researcher are needs analysis, product design, product development, media and material expert validation, implementation and evaluation. Knowing the feasibility of interactive learning media based on Adobe Flash Animate CC. The subjects of this study were 70 students of class X TKR and PDTO teachers of Percut Sei Tuan Private Vocational School. The data obtained in the form of descriptive and quantitative data. The validation results were declared valid, namely 84% of expert judgment material in the very good category and 83% of media experts in the good category. The level of eligibility assessed by students on average is 84% in the very good category. © 2024 Author(s).
