Abstract

Academic motivation is researched through two different training methods: conventional academic training programs versus alternating training programs. The research results are assessed in light of motivation modalities alongside educational support. A group of 684 students following a two-year college degree was surveyed on this subject. Results show that while students obtain similar results regarding motivation at the beginning of their two-year curricula, differences with regard to MI, ME and Amot are developing between those following AP and those following CP programs. © 2015, Institut National d'Etude du Travail et d'Orientation Professionnelle.
