Abstract

One model of learning that is most appropriate for vocational school based on standart learning process of curriculum 2013 was the use of project-based learning model. The findings of this study indicate that all of the mechanical machining teachers have implemented the project-based learning model based on their quite comprehensive understanding. Teachers perceive that project-based learning model can improve the hard skills and soft skills of the students. One weakness lies in the project is used, which is produced only by the analysis of the basic competencies of the subjects and does not use projects from industry so that most of the students' products could not be used, what else is sold. © 2016 Author(s).
