Abstract

Due to rapid development of tourism the network of destination routes is constantly enlarging following the growing demand for travelling. All these attributes have positively influenced on development of transportation infrastructure. A research on further usage of transport service as a means of tourism logistics is one of perspective directions of transport support development. State-run transportation infrastructure directly depends on timely execution of measures targeted on enlargement and renovation of existing traveler attractions and development of new traveler destinations. Taking into consideration the fact that increase in the domestic tourist flows is connected with that of travel companies' activity along with development of transportation and information infrastructure and with construction of new hotels and restaurants, a complex approach to the tourist sector development should be implemented. Search of the methods of solving national transportation issues will trigger significant growth in tourism in the country and improve the level of tourist service. Also, it will make its positive influence upon the vast majority of production branches and services. High prices on domestic and air transportation is one of the most pressing issues. Its solving requires both active actions of the regulating state authorities and providing proper conditions for increase in competition among transport operators, implementation of commercial nonscheduled flights along with involvement of transportation companies offering lower prices for their services of a reasonable quality. Apart from that, development of different branches of industry may stimulate improvement of the transportation sector. Interdependency in industrial sectors development becomes the most visible in tourism which is a complicated and multi-industry complex. Even minor changes in the transportation sector make their positive influence upon general conditions of the tourist complex in Russia and will maintain the process of improvement of tourism transport infrastructure management methods. The list of measures required for solving of complexed set of problems connected with modern conditions of transportation infrastructure includes qualitative changes in transport infrastructure management at all tiers of authority, increase in the number of offered international level services, involvement of investments, implementation of short-term programmes of transportation complex development, arrangement of the state and public monitoring system of their execution and allocation of responsibility for nonexecution of the approved development target indices. © 2018 IAEME Publication.
