Design of the Functional Pet Dog Costumes - Taking Shiba Inu as an Example

Abstract

In this study, functional pet dog costumes were innovated or designed, based on their economy, originality, aesthetics, perspectiveness and rationality. The subjects of study consist of some Shiba Inus, two staff of pet beauty shops, two Shiba Inu feeders and one costume designer, and more demands for the pet dog costumes are learned through these subjects of study. The study results are abstracted as follows: (1) Various demands for the functional pet dog costumes are found in the study. (2) Functional pet dog costumes can meet the requirements for comfort, safety and special purpose. © 2018 IEEE.
