Optimization of Evaluation and Monitoring Activities on Student Industrial Practices Through Web-based Information System

Abstract

This article aims on the user experience of web-based information system for optimizing evaluation and monitoring activities on student industrial practices. Web technology was chosen to be used in building the information system because of its reliability and accessibility. In this research, the information system has been built and tested for its user experience. Subjects of the product testing involved several students and experts. The students are about 50 samples and 2 expert assessments. Questionnaire was used for collecting data. The data consists of qualitative and quantitative. The result shows that the user experience is quite good, but the product need to be developed again based on the advice of the respondents. © 2018 IEEE.
